Australians have long held a love affair with the coast but there’s a mounting argument that the dream of a beachfront home should be entered into cautiously. A bi-partisan federal parliamentary committee has suggested that development in low-lying coastal areas vulnerable to sea level rises might need to be banned….. rising sea levels will threaten coastal development + exisitng properties/real estate….. 700000 homes expected to be consumed by the ocean at least….. along with infrastructure!
